Built From Redirection. Fueled by Freeride: Pow Hub x Outpst Collab

Some of the most important things in skiing don’t come from perfect plans.
They come when the season you pictured gets taken away — when injuries, health, timing, or life itself force you to slow down long enough to realize that skiing isn’t just about chasing the deepest day. It’s about building something that lasts longer than those few perfect turns. Something that carries meaning long after the snow melts.

That’s where this collaboration with POW HUB comes from.

POW HUB exists to serve as the freeride hub — a home for hard‑charging skiing, technical lines, deep pow, bigger sends, and the people behind the lens who bring it all to life. It’s a platform built for riders, filmmakers, and photographers who are truly getting after it. Not chasing trends. Not farming clicks. Just honoring good skiing. Always.

The Mindsets That Align

Both Outpst and POW HUB were born during moments of redirection - times when skiing didn’t look the way it was supposed to. When the path forward wasn’t chasing blower pow, hucking meat, or stacking days, Instead of walking away, both brands leaned in — choosing to build something rooted deeper than a single season. Something grounded in culture, community, and the pull of the mountains that never really goes away.

For POW HUB, that redirection came through the founder Chris.

A lifelong skier who grew up skiing the Poconos and New England before heading west to Utah, Chris was always drawn to the creative side of skiing — the films, edits, photos, and stories that captured what it felt like to be out there. When health issues sidelined him from skiing for several seasons, he didn’t step away from the sport. He stayed connected by creating POW HUB — a platform that gives riders, filmmakers, and photographers a place to share their work, tell their stories, and keep freeride skiing visible and alive.

Outpst’s story parallels that in its own way.

Outpst’s redirection came through its founder, Cooper — a competitive skier chasing the Freeride World Tour not for hype, but to build a platform rooted in inclusivity. A way to give up-and-coming skiers space to share their stories and abilities. Then came the injuries And the decision to hang it up. Born out of that pause and reset, Outpst became a way to create something meaningful when the traditional path disappeared. What started with a sewing machine and a single hat turned into a growing platform built to honor the mountains, the people who move through them, and the stories that come from choosing exploration over expectation. Building something real for the people who live this lifestyle — not just on the best days, but every day.

This collaboration is for the hard chargers pinning tight couloirs when conditions aren’t perfect.
For the filmmakers standing in the cold for one more angle.
For the up‑and‑comers who are putting everything they have into their craft and just need a platform to show what they’ve got in store.
For anyone who understands that freeride skiing isn’t just about the send — it’s about the culture and community built around it.

The Outpst x POW HUB collab is about the people who make this industry what it is.

Two brands built by skiers who were sidelined, rerouted, and forced to look at skiing differently — and who chose to create something bigger than themselves. Something that keeps freeride skiing alive, visible, and shared.

These hats are a small piece of that story.

When you wear it, you’re backing the riders, the filmmakers, and the photographers who are still getting after it — and the platforms that exist to give them a voice.

This is for those getting after it.

On planks. Behind the camera. And everywhere in between.
